Account Manager - SEEK Healthcare Qualitative | Remote Position | Full Time

As an Account Manager for SEEK's Healthcare team, you will work with SEEK clients and the SEEK Healthcare team to understand client business needs and manage research design, scheduling, development, analysis, and presentation both independently and through a team to ensure results deliver on objectives. You will benefit from mentorship in client engagement as you develop your client-service skill set. 3+ years of healthcare market research coordination/management experience are required, and client service experience is a plus.

In this hybrid administrative/researcher/client-service role, responsibilities include the following:


Administrative & Client Service Responsibilities:

  • Assist SEEK Healthcare Executive(s) and clients with management of research scheduling and timeline management, client relationships and quality improvement efforts.
  • Assist SEEK Healthcare lead and Consultants with the delivery of research design and proposals to meet client needs
  • Seamlessly step in for SEEK Healthcare Executive(s) when they are traveling/out of office, etc.
  • Develop into the primary client contact on smaller accounts, with direction from a senior client service member

Research & Analytical Responsibilities

  • Moderate online, virtual and in-person qualitative research with direction from SEEK Healthcare Executive(s) according to client objectives to uncover meaningful insights
  • Create analyses and reporting deliverable drafts - developing empathic insights that clients will use to move their businesses forward
  • Provide reports that effectively communicate key insights and strategic recommendations that are clear, creative, and compelling with direction from SEEK Healthcare Executive(s)

Over time, the Account Manager's focus may shift from mostly administrative and analytical to mostly client service and fieldwork. An Account Manager will be expected to gradually handle a wider variety of client service tasks more autonomously, with the goal of progressing into an Account Executive. The Account Manager will receive opportunities to learn and become proficient in the following areas:

  • Designing research to effectively meet client objectives
  • Learning effective client management and communication skills which include:
    • Managing expectations
    • Adopting a marketing/business orientation (vs. research orientation)
    • Identifying action-oriented insights
    • Effectively communicating/presenting results to client teams
    • Identifying opportunities to expand SEEK's business with clients and Directions Account Executives
  • Project pricing and sales forecasting
  • Applying effective prospecting techniques to win business
  • Creating and presenting sales/marketing decks
  • Prospecting and converting new client development
