Research Administrator Other | Remote Position | Full Time

Are you an EXPERIENCED MARKETING RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL with a desire to remain engaged in the industry, yet you currently need more flexibility than a full-time, salaried position can offer? As a Research Administrator at Directions, you'll have the ability to continue broadening and sharpening your PROJECT MANAGEMENT and ANALYTICAL skills within the constraints of an hourly 35-40 hour work week, and should your needs change, you'll remain eligible to move into a full-time, salaried Project Management or a similar role in the future.

The Research Administrator role allows you to use your marketing research experience to support the Project Management and Analytical teams in managing their workloads. Day to day responsibilities include:

    • Sample
    • Data Tables
    • Analytical Reports
    • Dashboards
  • Based upon past experience, provide an 'expert eye' in reviewing and providing critical feedback on project materials
  • Depending on your particular skill-set, you may provide additional assistance in project bidding, questionnaire development, etc. As a part of a team of very busy researchers, you can help develop your position within your team by applying your previous research experience.

  • Strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and the ability to ensure quality control procedures are maintained
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills - you're in charge of your calendar
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the willingness to learn what you don't already know
  • Flexibility, project timelines are often fluid; you're willing to go with the flow
  • Pro-active critical thinker with the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions

This is an hourly position consisting of a 35-40 hour work week. Provided you are available during most normal business hours, some flexibility can be built in to the job (to work later in the evening or early mornings). Directions offers a Work from Anywhere environment so working remotely and/or from the office is an option. As a full-time employee, you will receive benefits, training and perks our salaried staff receives but at a set hourly rate.
